S-75 and S-75C is a zinc chromate vinyl butyral wash coat (sometimes referred to as a wash primer) used as a pretreatment for metal. S-75 and S-75C is applied in a thin transparent coat since an excessive build-up will cause a lack of adhesion. Since S-75 and S-75C are moisture sensitive, Alumi-Chrome Primer should be top coated after an hour, and never applied when conditions are right for sweating of the metal or when moisture is present.
