Premium Domestic Copper

Many antifouling paint producers use inferior imported copper to inhibit marine growth. Sea Hawk uses premium U.S. domestic copper. This is the purest metal component in the paint. What’s more, our copper is 97% pure and ground to 50 microns. This gives Sea Hawk an optimum and consistent release rate for superior antifouling performance. Common brands with inconsistent or a more coarse ground copper may also present problems with adhesion to the hull in addition to their inconsistent release rates.
