MARINE RESIN

Polyester Resin is recommended for most standard patching and rebuilding of fiberglass laminates. Polyester is used in the vast majority of boat laminates. It will saturate the glass fiber materials quickly, yet stay in place until it cures. Mixing Ratio: Mix 12 drops MeKP to 1 ounce of resin, 10/CC per quart, 40CC per gallon. Resin will begin to gel in approximately 30 minutes at 77°F. Tinting: If color is desired, the resin can be tinted with a coloring agent. Add no more than 1 ounce of coloring per quart of resin. Cleaning: Use acetone to clean brushes, tools and equipment before resin gels.
