IBEX 2014 Report from the Sea Hawk Paints Exhibitor Booth

IBEX (International Boatbuilders Exhibition and Conference) 2014 was a successful show for Sea Hawk Paints and a wonderful time was had by our staff seeing some of our best friends from around the world.

Here are a few highlights:

Ramiz Abuhaydar, the owner of Golden Hind Chandlery in Road Town, Tortola, dear friend and seller of Sea Hawk Paints stopped by and hung out with the Sea Hawk Team. Many smiles and stories were shared.

The Island Water World crew stopped by the booth and visited with us. They had been by our manufacturing facility in Clearwater the day before for a tour and to receive their Partnership Excellence Award presented to them by Sea Hawk Paints!

Larry Bernaski, manager of Enterprise Florida, and big supporter of Sea Hawk, made a showing. Thanks go out to Larry for helping to provide financing to smaller companies abroad that need help getting products in-house for their businesses. Much of those are Sea Hawk Paints products!

Trotton, a Polish marine products distributor operating on the Baltic Sea, was a booth visitor and came by our manufacturing facility for a tour as well. Sea Hawk Paints is currently working on a boat paint specifically for Trotton and the Baltic Sea area. Some exciting R&D is happening in this regard here at Sea Hawk.

Peter Robertson, VP of Sales and Marketing at Robertson and Caine, was a big highlight with his visit to our booth. Robertson and Caine is the largest boat builder in South Africa, they produce boats for Tui Marine which all get coated with Sea Hawk bottom paint.

And we would be remiss if we didn’t mention Greg Nechay! Greg is the Purchasing Manager at Rybovich, an industry leader in mega yacht refits. They are also a big supporter and user of Sea Hawk products. Thanks for stopping by our booth and coming out for a Sea Hawk Paints facility tour. Great seeing you, Greg!
